Great small catalogue

This is a great exhibition catalogue with a short catalogue essay by the curator, Helen Molesworth. The modest photographs by Moyra Davey have a strange appeal that I can't quite pinpoint. The subject matter of her photographs are things like desktops, bookcases, old shop windows. There is a mood of contemplation and stillness conveyed by these unlikely images. Her essay on Photography and Accident, which is also included in the small volume, is beautifully written and very thought provoking about the role of accidents in photography.
While this is listed as out of print on the Yale University Press website, they still have it in stock at the Harvard University Art Museum as of December 2011, it's still $24.95.
